Eligibility Criteria for Studying MBBS at the University of Georgia

Qualification: High school diploma with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Entrance Exam: Submit a recorded video interview evaluated by the National Center for Quality Education Enhancement.
Language Proficiency:
• MOI certificate for native English speakers.
• B2 level in FCE, IELTS, or TOEFL for non-native speakers.
Required Documents: Passport scan, school leaving certificate with transcript, application fee receipt, video interview, and passport-size photos.
Funds: A Georgian bank account with a security deposit is required.
Application: No deadline; two intakes – Fall (June) & Spring (December).

Admission Procedure for MBBS at the University of Georgia

Application Submission – Fill out the online form with accurate details and required documents, guided by Abroconnect experts.
Document Collection – Submit scanned and physical copies to the Georgian Embassy as per the checklist provided.
English Proficiency & Interview – Clear the required English test and record a video interview with expert assistance.

Accreditations

With international recognition by institutions such as membership with ENIC-NARIC (ENIC – European Network of Information Centers in the European Region, NARIC – National Academic Information Centers in the European Union), accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates), the National Medical Commission (NMC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Medical Council of India (MCI), a medical degree from The University of Georgia is globally recognized.

University Library

The University of Georgia provides library facilities to the students in form of digital and non-digital resources. The provision of online access to journals and e-books is also provided by the University. Reading rooms are also available for students to discuss and study.

Attached Hospitals

The University of Georgia has a simulation hospital and simulation labs for training in different medical diagnostic activities using the simulation tool. Experimental training can also be carried out at biochemistry and simulation labs. The medical students also get to practice along the patient's bedside at the University clinic or partner hospitals.

Sports & Recreational Activities at University of Georgia

The Club Sports at The University of Georgia handles sports events and activities related to it. In the Club Sports Program, the university has 40+ clubs that are dedicated to different sports and recreational activities.

Creating clubs, and participating in extra curricular activities such as events is promoted by the University management.
